Consider the Valley of Decision

| Friday, May 6, 2011 | |
Each of us has a decision in life. A decision to serve God, or a decision to serve this evil world. To chase after the things that last forever or the things that pass away. Whether you like it or believe it or not, God is going to judge all of the wicked, by destroying them in one final battle. When it gets to that time whenever that may be. Just like we’ve been seeing in the news with Libya and Gaddafi, evil gets away with it for just so long. The Lord won’t let it go unchecked. Let’s take a look at this scripture and afterwards, I’ll elaborate.

Joel 3 (click here to read, click here to listen)

So as you can see, it’s always a good decision to follow God and serve God, through His Son Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew). When we choose His one and only Son, we become grafted into the people of Israel. God chose the Jewish people to bring salvation to all mankind. The gift of salvation is by grace, not works, we can’t earn it. If we say we are saved, are we fully committed to that gift? I heard that from a great Pastor named Robert Morris. Usually when we get a gift, we accept it and enjoy it and thanks the person who gave it to us. But if you’re a jerk, you might say, “This stinks! I don’t want this! Thanks a lot!” Let’s not do that with the gift of salvation. Reconciliation from the sin that separates us from God. Forgiveness and deliverance from hell. If you take the time to read the scriptures below, you can see the kind of life we can live with the guidance of the Lord’s Holy Spirit. It ain’t not joke. If you cry out to God, he will save you and help you get through ridiculously hard circumstances.
