Consider The Antidote For Stupid Choices

I know this is a touchy subject, but adultery is running rampant in the United States. I wonder why our country is having so many problems. We need to get back to what our country was founded on, the morals of the Bible that keep you from doing stupid things. When the Bible was removed from schools, they totally pulled the rug out from underneath our kids’ moral compasses. I’m not saying we should force the Bible on people, but it should be offered at every school. If anybody got offended by the Bible, they could take another class. For those parents who didn’t want to give their children a solid sense of what’s right and what’s wrong. I don’t know if Congressman Anthony Weiner, who recently resigned because of an internet scandal, ever read the Bible, but if he would have read Proverbs 5 and considered it, he might not be in the trouble he is in today. He committed adultery because he was flirting with a girl online when he as already married. And the girl writing back wasn’t doing any better. She may not have been committing adultery, but she didn’t give a bit of thought to what would happen to him. But Jesus offers forgiveness to both of them. They don’t have to live that way. I was glad to hear that the Congressman said he was gonna get some help. I pray that the Lord will help him. So, take a look at this proverb and consider the timeless advice.
